Muscle response testing has been used for hundreds of years to obtain information from the body, helping to determine what is needed in order to heal itself. Muscle response testing isolates a particular muscle and exposes it to a specific substance (in glass jars) to determine either a positive or negative response. An increase in strength of the isolated muscle is a confirmation of the body’s ability to recognize and process the substance being tested, whereas a weakness reveals a disruption in the energy flow since the body is unable to recognize it, and therefore indicates an intolerance or allergy.
